Saving Time and Money
Traditionally when preparing for a set up, before a client comes in, we must do the following. Preparation takes an average of anywhere from 5-15 sets of gloves alone just to bag 50 needles, not to mention the 50 sterilization bags, 2 patient drapes (minimum) and germicidal wipes, to wipe down your area before and after each time. We say up to 15 sets of gloves because realistically everyone gets interrupted during this 1 ½ hour to 2 hour process. The same goes for when you prepare 50 pre-pack setups with 2 gauze, 3 Cotton Swabs and a toothpick. You’re looking at another 1 ½ hour to 2 hour process and double the product.
Let’s break this down together. To create only 50 setups to do only 50 piercings you will spend an average 3 hours to 4 hours of labor to do your prep work. Ask yourself, how many piercings do you do in a week? If you only do 50 total piercings in a week then I suppose that 3-4 hours of labor for set up isn’t that bad, or is it?
The New Hole Way takes you about 2 minutes. Honestly, how long does it take you to open a box and place multiple smaller boxes on a shelf? Is it really that simple? Yes, with the use of gamma sterilization for sterilizing each piercing setup, New Hole has also sterilized the boxes that they are provided in. In addition to providing more efficient sterilization procedures, every item contained within each New Hole Setups are items that you will not have to purchase individually for your shop. Thus, reducing your set up time and allowing you more time to do other things.
